Here at Shrewsbury Cathedral Catholic Primary School and Nursery, we take our mission to protect all of God's earth and creatures very seriously.

Thanks to the Eco club's hard work, our school achieved it's very first Green Flag award which recognises the school's excellence in environmental action and learning.
~
We have a team of Key Stage Two Eco Warriors that meet every half term to discuss Eco issues and think of ways to make our school more environmentally friendly.
They are joined by the Key Stage One Eco warriors regularly to put these ideas into action around the school and community.

Guardians of the Planet
Inspired by Clive Gifford's amazing book 'Guardians of the Planet', Year 6 created their own masks inspired by the different guardians: Wildlife Warden, Home Hero, Guardian of Green Energy, Food-Waste Fighter, Freshwater Friend, Keeper of the Coasts and Oceans, and Friend of the Forests.
