Welcome to our class page!
Welcome to Nursery!
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all in September and starting an exciting year of learning together.
Due to the current situation, (COVID-19) our induction process has been different this year! Following on from the telephone structured conversations with each family, the induction meetings will take place in September (subject to social distancing guidance).
We will be able to meet you and your child on Thursday 3rd September 10.00-11.00 am and Friday 4th September 9-11.30am. You are invited to attend with your child on Thursday 3rd September and if they are happy and settled, they can stay and play without parents on Friday 4th September. You will be able to see the classroom, meet the EYFS staff and we will be able to tell you more information about starting nursery, routines and help answer any questions that you may have.
Our new term begins at 8.50am on Monday 7th September.
Please ensure that you bring a clean water bottle to school each day which is clearly marked with your name. We have cold water towers around school for you to refill your water bottle throughout the day.
Forest School takes place in all weathers and all seasons. Children and adults must be dressed appropriately as 'there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!'
You are encouraged to explore and investigate; you will need clothes that enable you do do this. As a parent said, 'You can wash away the mud, but you can't wash away the experience.'
Forest School Clothing:
- Jogging bottoms
- Water proof trousers
- Water proof jacket
Remember - these items will get muddy!
