Saplings Class - Nursery
Teacher - Mrs Evans
Teaching Assistant - Mrs Kaszubowska
Welcome to our class page!
Homework will be related to reading and phonics.
We will expect you to read 5 times a week with an adult at home and record it in your reading record. Your reading records will be checked by the adults in class each week and when 5 reads have been recording with an adult at home, you will be entered into the weekly class reading raffle for a chance at winning reading prize.
Please ensure that you bring a clean water bottle to school each day which is clearly marked with your name. We have cold water towers around school for you to refill your water bottle throughout the day.
Please see the weekly class time table below for your twice weekly PE slots.
PE kit will need to be kept in school for the whole week, should it be needed for other reasons, and taken home to be washed over the weekend. Please ensure that you bring your kit to school with you every Monday.
Forest School takes place in all weathers and all seasons. Children and adults must be dressed appropriately as 'there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!'
You are encouraged to explore and investigate; you will need clothes that enable you do do this. As a parent said, 'You can wash away the mud, but you can't wash away the experience.'
Forest School Clothing:
- Jogging bottoms
- Water proof trousers
- Water proof jacket
Remember - these items will get muddy!
