St Patrick's

Catholic Primary School

A very warm welcome to
St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School!

We work,
we love, we learn,
we pray,

We spread the Gospel
message everyday

I am proud to share with you the successes of our school. St. Patrick's prides itself on its warm, caring environment and the supportive partnership it forges with parents. We value each child as a unique individual and ensure there are a range of opportunities provided for their academic and personal development.

The children at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School have a marvellous reputation, whether it is on the sporting field, in community events or on visits. I am proud of everything that we have achieved and we are continuing to challenge ourselves to become even better.

We are affiliated to the Telford and Wrekin School Sports Partnership and have recently achieved gold kitemark status. We are currently taking part in sporting events which include competitive and non-competitive events in football, rugby, hockey, cross country and basketball. In the Summer term we take part in athletics, cricket, rounders and sports hall athletics and much, much more! Using the School Sports premium we deliver a planned programme of PE to develop agility, balance and co-ordination for all children in all key stages.

In music we offer a very active choir which has sung in local and church concerts some of which raised money for local charities and our own school charity supporting a school in Myanga, Kenya.

We take an active part in activities with our local primary, catholic Primary and secondary schools including mission days, cathedral days and subject based workshops.

We aim to provide all children with the opportunity to achieve the best that they can be in whatever they choose to do. Our curriculum is enhanced with visits from authors, artists and museums as well as educational trips and visits.

What we pride ourselves most on are the manners and attitude of the children at the school. Children treat one another kindly, they know 'pleases and thank you's' are important and good manners cost nothing. We follow the example of Jesus and treat others how God taught us to.

Please come to visit us and gain first hand experience of the values we hold and the importance of our caring and sharing ethos. We look forward to hearing from you.

Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. I hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school directly with any queries you may have.

Thank you for visiting!
