E-Safety
At our school we always want the children in our care to be careful when you are using the internet. We know that it will be a life long learning tool as it can help your child to keep in touch with their friends/family and support their education, to name but two. We are also aware that it can also cause harm to your child and to others when used inappropriately.
At our school we take E-safety very seriously. This includes a termly lesson on E-safety, regular posts in the newsletter and parental workshops. Remember as a parent help is always available at school if you are having any problems online with your child.
At our school we also share an Acceptable Use Policy with the parents/carers and children.

Tips for children staying safe online:
- Make sure you keep new online friends strictly online. If someone you don't know asks to be your online friend you must ensure an adult knows about it.
- Know how to use the CEOP Button and how to report it to the CEOP Centre if you are concerned about someone’s online behaviour towards you.
