Our SENDCo, Miss Sinha, can provide advice, support, and signposting to external services. If you would like to arrange a meeting with her, please contact the school office.

The Parenting Team – The Parenting Team offers a variety of services to parent carers with children with SEND. They recognise how important the role of the parent and carer is, and how difficult that role can be. They aim to provide knowledge and strategies that can be used to deal with everyday parenting challenges. IASS - Shropshire Information, Advice and Support Service (IASS) is a free, confidential and impartial service for children and young people that are aged between 0 – 25 years, with SEND, and their parents, living in Shropshire. IASS offers parents and young people supports around any concerns they might have around special educational needs and /or disability (SEND) and explains your options, rights and responsibilities.
PACC - Shropshire's Parent Carer Forum aims to provide community support for parents of children with SEND and to empower Parent Carers to influence change in local systems and services by sharing their experiences.

SEND Support Groups - Support from other parent carers has always been recognised as really important for SEND families. Locally there are a number of parent carer run support groups, where parent carers can chat with each other, and share experiences and information.

Autism West Midlands – AWM supports families who live in the Shropshire Council area who have children under 18 years old, with autism or autistic traits. AWM can help you to understand autism and how you can support and help your child. They offer lots of free support and organise lots of fun events for you to attend.

Shropshire Special Educational Needs (SEN) Team - The SEN Team have responsibility for the statutory duties relating to the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process and the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Review process for children and young people aged 0 to 25.
SEND Newsletter for parent carers and families – Newsletter produced by Shropshire Council, NHS Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin and PACC aimed at supporting parent/carers of children and young people with SEND.
Parent Carer needs assessment: If you are a parent carer of a child with a disability and have parental responsibility, you have the right to request a parent carer needs assessment (see the Children and Families Act 2014). Further information on how to do this can be found below.
